Memorabilia of great champions in the history alley of the Pinehurst Club House, "One-Moment-in-Time" with Payne Stewart as well as his bronze statue on 18 of Pinehurst #2, all conveyed a feeling of awe and a silent respect.
12-year young Keanu sucked it all in with great respect, then brushed things off during the practice rounds and again, after only 8 months of play, fired 5, 4 and 5 over par (77. 76, 77) to place 34th overall and 11th Rest of the World.During the 4th day U.S. Kids WORLD CUP, Keanu was licking his wounds though, while having realized he had missed by 1 position this Ryder Cup Style competition, pitting the top-ten U.S. players against the top-ten International players.
But it was all good on sacred Pinehurst ground...
