Keanu and Tim Rauth go 1 and 2 in warm-up for 2nd Bavarian Ch'ship qualifier

Keanu and his Reichswald team-mate Timothy Rauth recently placed 1st and 2nd in a Ryder Cup Tour leg at Golf Club Pleiskirchen.

The one-day event served as a warm-up for the second qualification of the BAVARIAN Championship in Pleiskirchen on May 28 - 29, 2011.

Keanu put in a good performance with a 1-over par 73, while drawing a penalty for an out-of-bounds drive on #10. Timothy Rauth likewise produced solid golf at 3-over par 75, while still getting used to the greens of the hilly course in Niederbayern.

Both results were sufficient to leave the field behind.

Keanu and Tim Rauth are members of GC Am Reichswald Nuernberg, where captains Julian Hacker and Christian Schloesser have assembled a promising group of young guns for the club's AK18 and Men's team.

Reichswald's AK18 team will gun for the BAVARIAN Championship at Muenchen Eichenried in July, while the renown club's 1st Men's team will shoot for the BAVARIAN TEAM CUP in Oberfranken in the second week of June.

In the meantime, best of luck to all Reichswald competitors for the 2nd qualification of the BAVARIAN Championship in Pleiskirchen!
